Zacuto Sony EVF Recoil

The Zacuto Sony EVF Recoil is a shoulder-mounted rig that includes the VCT Universal baseplate, a handgrip, and the F5/F55 top plate, which features a wide array of accessory mounting options. This rig is compatible with the Sony F5 and F55. It is designed to provide optimal balance whether shoulder mounted or on a tripod. When lenses and cameras are similar in weight, the balance point is where the lens meets the camera body. In this recoil rig, the balance point is directly over your shoulder. This requires focus, monitoring, and camera controls to be relocated forward, creating a lighter and shorter rig.

The VCT Universal Baseplate has a built-in, curved shoulder pad, a v-wedge tripod connector, 6.5" (16.5 cm) iris rods, and rows of 1/4"-20 threads along the sides for accessories. The recessed rod mount offers maximum accessory space under your camera lens.

The Zgrip Z-Mount Zwivel is a fully articulating handgrip that attaches to a single 15mm rod with a Zwivel mount that can be set at multiple different angles for comfort and ease of use.

The F5/F55 Top Plate attaches to your camera frame and provides numerous 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 mounting threads, as well as a quick-release 15mm Z-Lock port, a single 4.5" (11.4 cm) female/female rod, and the Recoil Handle. The Recoil Handle is a solid top grip that accepts two cold-shoe accessories and has a quick-release 15mm rod port.

Note: This rig requires the addition of a monitor or Zacuto EVF.
